One of my most cherished travel memories took place during a three-night stay in Merzouga, deep in the Moroccan Sahara. It was during this trip that I discovered the beauty of having a private female Moroccan driver, which made me realize how empowering it is for women in Morocco. The drive through the vast, golden dunes of the Sahara was unforgettable, and having a fellow Moroccan woman as my driver was inspiring. She was confident, knowledgeable, and passionate about showing the world how women in Morocco are breaking boundaries. It was a moment of profound empowerment that made me even more proud of my country and the progress we are making together. Merzouga’s warm, inviting atmosphere, with its stunning landscapes and starry nights, left a lasting impression on me. It was a trip that solidified my love for Morocco and the incredible people who call it home.
Luis Fernández de Vega Chávarri
While my background was in marketing, my true passion has always been travel. During my journeys across countries and continents, I noticed most trips felt overly 'packaged,' missing the hidden gems that make a destination truly unforgettable. In 2014, I began designing authentic experiences in Spain, blending iconic highlights with local secrets only an insider would know. As travelers' interests grew, I expanded my expertise to Portugal, Morocco, and Tunisia, creating journeys that showcase the true essence of each destination. For me, it’s all about crafting meaningful trips that connect travelers to the heart and soul of a place.
I loved to travel with my parents and 3 sisters and their husbands to Germany, Canada, Argentina and other countries. I also loved my honeymoon to South Africa but if I had to choose my favorite destination that would be Ireland. I lived there back on 2004 for a few months while I worked as marketing assistant and I met my wife there. She is also from Spain, barely 80 miles from my born place, but you never know where you’ll meet your other half. So we love to go once and once again to re-find ourselves as a couple and last time we also took our 12 and 9 y.o. children so they could see where their parents met and formed a beautiful family.

One of my fondest recent travel memories is a road trip to Prague. The city is a gem, filled with breathtaking architecture, a rich historical tapestry, and a lively cultural scene. I vividly remember strolling along the cobblestone streets, being awestruck by the Gothic towers of the Old Town Square and savouring the variety of delicious foods. Nevertheless, as remarkable as Prague is, the place that stole my heart (even if briefly) was Karlovy Vary, a magical place in Western Bohemia, a fairy tale spa resort where nature and tranquillity meet classical architecture (as well as modern fine dining). I will keep dreaming about that place for years, and be reminded of why I love travelling, as well as to share this joy with my friends and customers.
